Environment and Innovation

Thinking ahead responsibly

Technology, efficiency, and sustainability in balance

Technologies, markets, and applications evolve continuously. plating electronic evolves with them, because our goal is clear: to remain technology-leading in power supply solutions and deliver the highest possible value for customers. We evaluate every innovation against one question: does it create a real advantage in the process, in stability, efficiency, and long-term operational reliability.

Development is part of our DNA

Our power supplies are highly customizable, and that close connection to application and customer requirements drives continuous development. The high level of customization in our POWER STATION and POWER PULSE systems, combined with complex customer projects, makes development part of our culture. Insights from projects and research go straight into product design, control concepts, and system solutions.

Water cooling for compact systems and process-close installation

A key milestone is our water-cooled power supply design. It protects sensitive electronics in demanding environments, enables more compact systems, and supports installations closer to the process. The result can be reduced space requirements, lower cable losses, and optimized system costs in build and operation, without compromising reliability.

Pulse technology with real application depth

plating electronic has been advancing pulse technology for many years. Beyond hardware development, we focus on defining pulse waveforms that fit specific processes, in collaboration with customers and research partners. Results have been published in specialist articles and in book form. Customers who want to go deeper can request our current pulse plating book, created with contributions from our pulse specialists.

Continuous improvement in practice

Even established technologies offer room for progress, for example through improved housings, simpler operation, and stronger software and interface solutions for control and integration. The objective remains the same: stable processes and higher efficiency in daily operation.

Sustainability as a guiding principle

In energy-intensive industries, sustainability is a special responsibility. For us, it is also a constant motivation to pursue energy-efficient and resource-saving methods, from development and projects through to manufacturing. In implemented systems, this is reflected in reduced power consumption and permanently lower operating costs, and often reduced material usage as well. We are happy to explain these effects based on specific applications.

Sustainable manufacturing

We also invest in concrete measures at our German site. A 265 kW peak photovoltaic system at our production facility generates a large share of the energy required for production and testing in a climate-neutral way on site. Our efforts have also been recognized, including the 1st Leipzig electroplating environmental technology award in 2010.
